A quartet of Italian nationals have been deported from the country after being apprehended when vessels sailing in a flotilla transporting aid bound for Gaza were boarded, according to Israeli foreign ministry.

Over 470 people were taken into custody, according to Israeli police. The foreign office announced that authorities were actively deporting the others.
